Ordering & delivery

Where do you deliver?
Throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan. Check the delivery map for your zip code. Don't see it? Email us and we'll see what we can do.
When do orders close?
Order any time. Orders placed by Monday at 6 PM arrive Tuesday.
Is there an order minimum?
Yes, $130 per order.
Do I have to order every week?
No. Order whenever it suits you. Many customers stock the freezer and reorder as needed.
How much is delivery?
A flat $20. Spend $180 and use code FREESHIP for free delivery. As our routes get denser, we expect this cost to come down.
When will my order arrive?
Tuesdays. Our driver starts the route at 10 AM.
What if I'm not home?
Your order arrives insulated with ice packs. Bring it inside and move the meals to the freezer as soon as you can.
Can I send an order as a gift?
Yes. Add a gift message at checkout and we'll deliver straight to the recipient.
Do you offer refunds or returns?
Our food is perishable, so we can't accept returns. If something arrives damaged or isn't right, email us within 24 hours of delivery and we'll make it right.

The food

How are the meals prepared?
Cooked in small batches with organic, sustainably sourced ingredients, then frozen at peak freshness.
Why frozen?
Done with care, freezing preserves flavor, texture, and nutrition. We cook with fresh ingredients only — vegetables from local farms, locally raised meat, locally caught wild fish — and freeze at peak freshness, so the food tastes as intended whenever you get to it.
How many people does a meal serve?
Portions vary by dish and are listed on each product page. Every dish serves several people, or one person across a few meals.
Does the menu change?
Yes, with the seasons. We adjust as ingredients come in and out of season.
What happens if something sells out?
We cook in small batches, so the menu reflects that week's inventory. Once a dish sells out, it's gone until the next cooking cycle. Email us if you missed something — we plan future menus around what people ask for.
Can I customize the meals?
Our dishes are made to be finished at home. Add seasonal produce, fresh herbs, a squeeze of lemon, or whatever's in your fridge.
Are the meals kid-friendly?
Most are eaten happily by adults and kids both, though spice tolerance varies.
Can I travel with the meals?
Yes, as long as they stay frozen or well insulated. They travel well for weekends away, family visits, and rentals.

Storing & reheating

How long do the meals last?
Each dish is labeled with a best-by date. Ours are deliberately conservative.
Why are your best-by dates shorter than other frozen foods?
Large brands date for maximum shelf life. We date for quality. Our food is made without stabilizers or preservatives, so it's best eaten sooner.
How do I reheat the meals?
Instructions come with every dish. Everything is designed to reheat in a pot on the stove or on a sheet tray in the oven — no special equipment needed.

Ingredients & allergens

Are your ingredients organic?
We prioritize organic and sustainably sourced ingredients wherever possible, and work closely with trusted producers.
Do you use preservatives or additives?
No artificial preservatives, flavors, or stabilizers.
Do you use seed oils?
No, we're 100% seed oil free. We cook with grass-fed beef tallow, grass-fed butter, extra-virgin olive oil, avocado oil, and coconut oil.
Are the meals gluten-free or dairy-free?
Some are, some aren't. Full ingredient lists are on every product page.
How do you handle allergens?
Ingredient lists are on every product page. Our kitchen handles common allergens, so please review them carefully.
